Hooray for LJ letting me post!

lonetreadI don't know what was wrong with LJ this morning, but it looks like it's fixed now. :)
Anyway, yesterday I had my two lab finals (after the longest day ever created during which I lived entirely off Quizno's and was lucky I had a chance to eat at all). They went pretty well. And the finals aren't weighted very high either; since my lab average is an A in both classes, I don't have anything to worry about.
Today was pretty great; no lab anymore, so it felt like a Friday.
Also, a while back in CS, we wrote a program to determine students' final grades in our class. This morning, I played around with it to see what I'd have to get on the final to make an A. Turns out that all I have to do is pass; if I were to get a 70, I'd have an 89.8. So, since I'm definitely going to get over a 70, guess I don't have to worry. That's pretty sweet. :)
Oh, and speaking of this morning, I logged in and Windows was all "We gave you some updates, yay!! Btw, had to restart." And I was like "DDDDDDDDD: I had 14 windows and 70+ tabs open, you jerk!" And then Firefox was all "Restore previous session?" It was like a miracle. I had no idea it was badass enough to remember my stuff even after the computer got restarted, but this might just prove there's a God. Before I got Firefox, I never understood what the Firefox groupies were on about. Someone should have just explained that^; I would have switched ages ago.
Finally, I just got an email from a classmate of mine that's kind of hilarious and rather proves my Engineering Prac prof's point about communication and considering your audience.
Subject: Help?
Dear Classmates,
I am extremely behind in this class, and need help catching up before
next week. If anyone is interested in catching me up and maybe
studying for the final i'll give you 60 bucks for your trouble. I'm
already gonna retake the class next fall but i'd rather not fail this
time and have somthing to go on for next time.

My reaction: So, which class are we in together, exactly? Lolol. Communication fail.
I need to do some tab/window closing, but I'll save that for another post, I think.
