lonetreadSo, break is over. That was fast. Not bad, though. The pronouns were hilarious (it was like mix-n-match name and pronouns the whole time); the best was when Mom and Dad were talking on Saturday about how I was going to get home, with Mom using the right pronouns and Dad using the wrong ones and they were having this conversation with each other and it was just hysterical. :) Also over the break we went and saw the musical version of Footloose at the civic center in my hometown, which was better than I remember the movie being. So that was fun.
In other news, over the past few days I got three Facebook friend requests from people from high school. The first was from AC, someone I knew and didn't really like; the second from W, who I would recognize but have never said a word to, and the third was from J, someone everyone knew (up there in the top 5 of our class, y'know?) but I didn't/don't really know hardly at all. I ignored all of them. *shrug* It was weird, though. That's definitely the one problem with the "People You May Know" thing. It's like, yes, you know their names, but do they really want to be friends with you? Awkward stuff.
Randomly, how awesome is this?: Dexter Author Stages Cameo. Proving he still likes the show. Good for him.
And God, I am in love with this Being Human vid. For reals. I really want to vid to this show, but it's like "Citizen Soldiers" and Jericho -- there's really nothing that fits quite as well as that song. But at least I've got a copy of the pilot that's French-subtitle-free now, so I'm keeping an ear out for anything that sounds likely. If anyone else gets a bunny, throw it my way if you don't want it!
Speaking of BH, I've been reading (lots, lots, lots) more fic, and I've come to the conclusion that my George is really, really OOC in "Secrets Go Both Ways". *sigh* I kind of wish I could stop reading fic so there'd be ideas out there that wouldn't be plagiarizing something someone else already wrote.
And Day 30 word count: 111. I win! Didn't finish Sunday's drabble (which is QL, because the BH bunnies I had the other day weren't biting Sunday) because I was tired, but it's not bad, and I'll try to get it up soon. clex_monkie89. (Unfortunately, as far as the QL is concerned, I'm having the same problem with my brain plagiarizing other people's fics (in particular, "Stolen Bliss"), so hopefully I'll manage to make the idea my own.)
And one of these days, I'll finally get rid of a couple of my Dexter icons or something and make room for QL and BH.

Also, that song by Depeche Mode is really cool!
