1. I wiped the floor with my Logic midterm. If I'm unlucky, I got an A. If I'm lucky, I aced it. Goddamn, I love this class. I wonder if there's more you can take/do after this one. (Legal name on the test, though; really?! Argh. Decidedly not cool. I'm betting that explains the Facebook message, though.)

2. My old professor who keeps coming to Quizno's? I finally spoke to him.

Me: Still teaching 1313 [CS for Non-Majors]?
Him: Not this semester, but next semester, yeah.
Me: *knew that already, but it made a good segue* *after a minute* I'm majoring now.
Him: In CS?
Me: Yep.
Him: Is that my fault?
Me: *lol* Yeah, pretty much.

And then he wanted to know if, when talking to the CS dean, I'd given him credit. After I told him that, well, the other part of that decision was because I sucked at AE, he laughed and suggested I just give him all the credit.

Heh, I love that guy. I have several professors that I would just be thrilled if they could teach every class I'll ever take, and he's one of them, for sure. So, even if he didn't recognize/remember me, I'm glad I could maybe brighten his day with that.

3. ONECARD PEOPLE. STOP FAILING. D:

Really. I came in the other day and asked about getting a new card (they're free if you changed your name, so I wanted to know what constituted a name change). They said, "No, it doesn't have to be legal; your name just has to be changed in the system." I said, "SWEET. I'll come back and do that some other time, then. [When I don't have work in two minutes.]"

Except apparently my definition of "in the system" (Enroll, D2L, email) and their definition of "in the system" (Records) are not the same thing. Wtf, guys. Way to ruin my day. And for all I know, Records requires a legal name change. Which would bite, but not be terribly surprising.

Thanks a lot, OneCard folks, for bringing my hopes up and then dashing them. If this doesn't work out, I'm sure as shit shelling out the $15 for a new card where I don't have a foot of hair, at least. And then looking into this legal-name-change business, which has all of a sudden gone up in priority. (I'm sure I'll be out to everyone by the time I figure it all out, lol.)

4. Ordered a new binder.

Because really, having to readjust myself every five minutes? Not cool. Decided against the double-front since everyone always complains about the length and I'm all kinds of short, which probably wouldn't help. Almost went with the Frog Bra, because of the whole cutting-you-in-half-at-the-ribs thing the tri-top's got going on, but that was more expensive, so I just went with another TT, because I know what I'm getting and I like it well enough. Looking forward to it coming.

5. Remember that story about the guy in my lab group?

Turns out they're all awesome, not just him. Male pronouns all through lab last week, and then I walked home with one of the girls, who met a friend on the way and introduced me and I think that was the first time I've ever been introduced as Justin and it was pretty freaking exciting for me (and not at all for her because that's just me, which is all kinds of awesome).

And to add to that even further? One of the girls "she"'d me the first week. Yup, things are looking up.
