Some updates, a joy, and a rage.

1. I wiped the floor with my Logic midterm. If I'm unlucky, I got an A. If I'm lucky, I aced it. Goddamn, I love this class. I wonder if there's more you can take/do after this one. (Legal name on the test, though; really?! Argh. Decidedly not cool. I'm betting that explains the Facebook message, though.)
2. My old professor who keeps coming to Quizno's? I finally spoke to him.
Him: Not this semester, but next semester, yeah.
Me: *knew that already, but it made a good segue* *after a minute* I'm majoring now.
Him: In CS?
Me: Yep.
Him: Is that my fault?
Me: *lol* Yeah, pretty much.
And then he wanted to know if, when talking to the CS dean, I'd given him credit. After I told him that, well, the other part of that decision was because I sucked at AE, he laughed and suggested I just give him all the credit.
Heh, I love that guy. I have several professors that I would just be thrilled if they could teach every class I'll ever take, and he's one of them, for sure. So, even if he didn't recognize/remember me, I'm glad I could maybe brighten his day with that.
3. ONECARD PEOPLE. STOP FAILING. D:
Except apparently my definition of "in the system" (Enroll, D2L, email) and their definition of "in the system" (Records) are not the same thing. Wtf, guys. Way to ruin my day. And for all I know, Records requires a legal name change. Which would bite, but not be terribly surprising.
Thanks a lot, OneCard folks, for bringing my hopes up and then dashing them. If this doesn't work out, I'm sure as shit shelling out the $15 for a new card where I don't have a foot of hair, at least. And then looking into this legal-name-change business, which has all of a sudden gone up in priority. (I'm sure I'll be out to everyone by the time I figure it all out, lol.)
4. Ordered a new binder.
5. Remember that story about the guy in my lab group?
And to add to that even further? One of the girls "she"'d me the first week. Yup, things are looking up.
