Firstly: Muses. Really. I get it: Quantum Leap is the best fandom to use in crossovers since Tru Calling. You don't have to do this to me. All I did was think, "Hey, QL/Burn Notice would be pretty cool", and all of a sudden it becomes a table in my notebook because XF and SN and The Pretender all sounded like good ideas too.

And after I said, "I don't write long stories! I know Dexter knows that, he should have told the rest of you!" -- NOT the time to decide that QL/Dexter sounds like a REALLY cool idea, tyvm. *headdesk* Although it does. And it's actually the one coming along the best; how unfair is that?

Secondly: If you're going to do this to me, at least give me actual ideas. Like that Dexter teaser. For the rest of them, "stuff happens" = not cutting it.

Thirdly: Thank God fic is for people who know the show, because if I have to try and explain Al again I might just have to give up on the whole idea forever. I need more fandom friends, because apparently all the half-baked explanation in the world can't help Zera help me.

Or maybe it's the time-travel. Self, why did you have to get into all these time-travel fandoms when you know it breaks your brain to deal more than superficially with the concept? That was dumb of you.

Fourthly: Anyone who knows Quantum Leap and wants to spoil me for the series finale (my d/l is being slow, and however much I don't want to see the sad ending, I have to know what happens) and/or help me pseudo-fanwank some stuff, my AIM screenname is the same as my username. Please give me a wave on there and ask to hear my interpretation of The QL Theory. Or just start summarizing "MIA" for me, since I haven't seen that one either, and from what I hear, I should.

Fifthly: In case you haven't figured this out, I've become something of a QL junkie over the past week or so. Fave ep so far: "Shock Theater". Scott Bakula, ilu. For srs. Such an amazing actor, y/y?

Sixthly: To the muse who decided that QL transfic would be a terrific idea and I'm just the guy to write it, I'm going to have to agree with your first conclusion and respectfully disagree with the second. Although it does need to be written badly enough that I might just have to do it if no one else has/will, so we'll see.

... And I'm pretty sure I had other related things to say, but I don't really remember what any of it might have been, so I'll leave it at that for now.

Further ETA: I watched MIA. Not as much of a downer as I was expecting. Can't bring myself to watch Mirror Image yet. I figure they're saving up all the angst and sadness and gloom for that one, and I'm not sure I'll be able to take it. :( This is my personal canon right now, and I don't really want that interfered with. But I'm expecting it to end up more lilke this, which breaks my heart. *sigh* Show, why did you have to go do that?

OK, you're the second person to say that. I'm starting to get the feeling that maybe I shouldn't openly fanboy all my newly-discovered 90s shows quite so much. *sigh* Oh well.

When I was ten, you couldn't have dragged me away from my books long enough to watch much TV, except maybe Alex Mack. (Speaking of, I d/led that a while back. Talk about nostalgia. It was glorious.)

QL/BN? i'm sure it wouldn't be as crack-filled as if i were to write the Supernatural/BN fic everyone was commenting on in one post not all that long ago..... (maybe i should try it, knowing it's "just a scene" and see where it goes?)
