Can I just say my sister is awesome? Because she is. :D

She was leaving, and she always says "Peace out, Girl Scout", and today she was like, "Peace out, Girl Scout... Boy Scout, whatever." And then, "By the way, I don't like 'Simon'. It makes me think of the chipmunks." And it was just totally eh, whatever, I'm still her brother but my name blows. Since I'm not really sure I care for it, either, for myself (no offense to simonia), that doesn't bother me. She's gonna help me pick a new one. I feel bad for bothering my church and my neighbors by changing my name again on them, but what can ya do.

And, in other news, this article is hilarious. Especially because I've been watching X-Files all afternoon (and speaking of, "Kitsunegari" was even better than "Pusher"). Heh.

Back to it, then. About to watch "Schizogeny".

ETA: "Schizogeny" was... interesting. "Chinga" was creepy as all hell. And I didn't expect "Kill Switch" to be so... well, Imma have nightmares now, I think. I mean, holy crap. *shivers*

Any ideas about what you'd go with instead? How did you pick Simon in the first place?

Well, I liked that it has "geeky nerd-boy" connotations (probably in part because of the chipmunk...). As that's accurate, I rolled with it, seeing as I needed a name to give mailing lists anyway. I also have a huge family, so lots of names are already taken.

When I asked my mom what she'd have named me, she said Michael or Brian. Definitely not a Mike, but Brian's not bad (except, coincidentally, it's my new therapist's name). *shrug*
