• I think I have honorary grandmothers at church. It was crowded today, so I ended up between two little old ladies, neither of whom I recognized, and the one on my right (Karen) asked the other one, "Is this young man related to you in any way?". She says, "No, he's not," and Karen goes, "Well, you should claim him. If you don't, I will." (And then when Karen and I were talking later, I mentioned being 20 and she had the courtesy to say she hadn't thought I was very much younger than that.) I love my church.
• Also, the story they read to the kids at church today, Dr. Seuss' "You're Only Old Once", is hilarious.

• I'd do the screenshot meme ("Take a screenshot of every window you have open and one of your desktop. Post them here."), but posting images is way too much hassle. My windows aren't that interesting anyway (F!S; linebyline; some AIM windows; and a Notepad doc with a bunch of unfulfilled prompts from Yuletide, one or two of which I'm thinking of trying and the other I need to remember to show to Zera because it's R&G and I don't have the Shakespeare knowledge to pull it off). Anyway.
• Four days, six hours, and 44 [ETA: 34!] minutes! :D
• In that vein, I've decided Nick Lea is one of the best actors ever. Seriously. I mean, even knowing that Krycek's a backstabbing, traitorous, evil, duplicitous villain, and even knowing that he racked up the highest body count of anyone on the show... Nicholas Lea can still make me feel bad when shit happens to him. It's amazing. (I watched "Piper Maru"/"Apocrypha" yesterday, if you were wondering.) [ETA: And I'm fairly sure it's not just because he's really attractive, either.]
• Finally, speaking of actors: am I dumb for not knowing that Mandy Patinkin played Inigo Montoya in The Princess Bride? I learned that today. And I went "o_O". Because really. To me, he will always and forever be Rube from DLM, or Gideon from CM. It's weird to think that there was a time/role where he didn't look like he did in DLM and CM. At least, I think so.
• ...Oh, and speaking of Nick Lea. The folks who did the credits for "Mystery Spot" could learn a few things from the credits of "S.R. 819". That's how you do spoilery credits, SN people. Because man, would I have been pissed to have had that spoiled for me. That was an awesome twist. XF, I love you.
