More Dark Blue-related stuff, because DB is awesome and homework is not.

Finally got around to rewatching the DB sf "Shot in the Dark" last night. Mostly managed to keep my mind on the plot this time, yay for me. (And if I had to consciously drag my mind out of the gutter to do it, well, that just proves how blatant the subtext is.)

Relatedly, I worked some more on NCT, and while I was checking out rounds_of_kink, I found a prompt that gave me another idea for it -- it was a Dean/Jaimie prompt, but I'm gonna borrow it anyway, because it's awesome and it improves what limited Excuse Plot my fic already had. To quote my notes: "Human trafficking is better than drugs." (*g* Yeah, I never thought I'd write that sentence, either.)

Oh, and speaking of DB, ( small spoiler for the DB pilot. )

Now, off to do homework, because I have Stats homework due Tuesday and a programming project due Thursday that's going to be absolutely horrible (not to mention being due the Thursday night after my court date on Wednesday; I'm trying to get an extension, but I haven't heard back yet ETA: Got the deadline extended until Friday night).

And something I forgot...

On Friday, there was less than ten minutes left until I got off my shift at work, and who showed up except Sam, an old friend of mine that I'd hardly seen in ages! When I got off work, we hung out for a while and it was good times.

The funniest thing, though: She'd dyed her hair, so I was having trouble recognizing her, and when I finally found her, I told her so.

...She just kind of looks at me and points out that I'm hardly the one to be saying that.

Oh. Right. >_<
