Worked out the issues in my newest QL/SN fic (for this prompt from [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic) and I'm almost done. Or at least, I will be once I start typing up the rest of what I've written. *eyeroll* It's been a lot of fun, though, really. :D

Thinking of writing WC for [livejournal.com profile] writing_game this board (after the above fic, of course), and just getting back into the swing of things over there. I don't know, though, I'm not sure the prompts are sparking a whole lot; we'll see, I guess. (And I'm kinda disappointed about the new PC rule -- half the fun was taking those out of the obviously-intended context and using them some completely different way!)

Finally, [livejournal.com profile] multi_ficathon is coming back from hiatus! You should all join and help it come back to life properly. Because it's fun.

ETA: Oh crap. Just discovered a massive, epic, gigantic plot hole in my fic. ASDF;KLJH THIS STORY IS DRIVING ME INSANE. /o\

ETA 2: I think I solved my plot hole. By leaving it and ascribing it to a miracle/"God did it". Hey, this is the one story I can get away with that shit. And I'm almost done, so any way I can avoid completely changing the story to fix it, I'm all over that. :) Still kind of disappointed about it, but what can ya do.

See, we need you to tell us if you like new rules or not.

I followed [livejournal.com profile] lilian_cho's lead and insisted on it, because I had the feeling that players plainly didn't care about the prompt category. Which totally isn't the same thing as making note of the category and knowingly trying to twist the prompt for fun. Now, you can still do it in the A-Z table. Or stop caring about the points, and play however you like best with the prompts. See my cunning plan for winning a game at last?

Oh, and I've joined multi_ficathon just before it went on hiatus, so I'll have to check the rules and such, but I'm there too.

Well, given that we're just back from a six-months hiatus, it's been ages since pretty much everyone's been active over there, but yeah, I get what you mean. (Oh, hopefully! And if my prompts do nothing for you, for future reference, I'm eminently bribable, prompt-wise^^)

You know, once our point is made, maybe we won't stick to that rule. I don't know.

Prompts! I think I love them even better than chocolate - which is saying something, believe me.

Ha!

So I procrastinated for a couple of days and I've checked with my co-mod, and we have an answer (that should be added to the rules shortly because apparently it wasn't included already).

So, AUs and fusions (whatever *these* are) = same fandom.

If you write a crossover for Fandom A/Fandom B, you should stick to Fandom A/Fandom B until you reach a points total that allows you to switch fandoms. Crossing Fandom A or Fandom B with another fandom isn't allowed, neither is writing for solely one of those fandoms. You may write as many AUs for those crossover fandoms as you want, though^^
