1. Defection letter is in the mail.
2. Finally got airline tickets. The prices did go down $5, but those all left at ~5:30am, so I ended up with a $345 one anyway. Like I said, my luck. But whatever, we're good, we have seats and everything and 1.5hr layovers both ways, we're set. :D
3. Also, last week I got hotel reservations (at the Extended Stay in Brooklyn) and a bunch of stuff from Walmart. So, prepared. And excited. *glee*
4. Unrelately, got some goodies from GoodVibes recently, and 2/3rds of them came today. One of which is a packy supposedly exactly the same kind as my current one (which is starting to wear down, turning odd colors, and continuing to risk destruction every day by existing in the same house as Corona the Perv-Dog, so I thought I could use a spare/replacement) -- but this new one is different. Smells funny, strangely colored, and a very noticable half an inch bigger. Lol idek. I emailed Customer Service out of curiosity, mostly; we'll see what they have to say.
5. Finished another part of SP yesterday (and I really do need a SP tag, I think; I'll have to make one eventually), and started part 1. That's three down, two halves to go. I'm concerned I'll have too much for section 2 and not enough for section 1, but we'll see. At least, if all else fails, there's one last Amnesty Wednesday next week.
6. Got billed by OU today for summer. That class I thought I was getting paid for? Apparently since I got course credit, I have to pay tuition. Since, naturally, that's $1600 I can't exactly afford at the moment, I was on the phone with the Bursar's office, and the registrar, and Continuing Ed, and at least three other people, before finally ending up... at the voicemail of the woman I've been corresponding with by email about this class to begin with. D: Yeah. So I just hung up and sent her an email; we'll see where that goes. Wish me luck on playing dumb and begging out of that. (ETA: Heard back: The bill is just a formality -- I don't have to pay the tuition for that class. *sigh of relief*)
7a. Missed LTM on Monday, but looking forward to Happy Town tonight, and BN and RP tomorrow. I'll probably catch up on LTM on Friday or something.
7b. And speaking of television, how unfair is it that the one time ever that I'll have a) nothing better to do than sit around and watch 48 straight hours of television, and b) no one to stop me, that SyFy's decided to air a marathon of "Greatest American Hero" instead of the usual 4th-of-July Twilight Zone marathon? So not fair. At least the New Year's one is still on, but still. D: Uncool, SyFy. Uncool.
ETA: 8. Finished God Delusion. It was really good. You should read it. See a couple posts back for the download link.

Date: 2010-06-10 02:54 pm (UTC)I guess they're thinking that most people who'd watch TZ have the DVDs by now -- which, hello, there's still plenty of folks who make time for these marathons just because they're fun -- but I suppose I can understand that. And I'd be curious to know how it does in the ratings; although, compared to, e.g., Mongolian Death Worm, I doubt that be it. ;) (And I use that example with the utmost love because Sean Patrick Flanery starred in it, so it couldn't possibly have been as bad as it sounds, but still, y'know?) Alas.
