Had an awkward moment today.

lonetreadSo today at work we got talking about how none of us had vaccuumed/swept our rooms in a while. Shawn was saying that his and his roomie's hair is all over their carpet, and I'm like "Yeah, I know. My roommate's never even here, and her hair's still all over. I don't know how hair does that."
I thought nothing of saying that, since at work, I go off the assumption that everyone knows I'm trans. But then we had this conversation:
Cori: How is your roommate a girl?
Me: ...Because they don't know I'm a guy.
Her: Why not?
Me, slowly: ...Because I was born female.
Her: Oh. That's cool, you get to room with girls.
And we moved on. It was still way awkward, though.
In other news, I snagged some of the Being Human music before the bh_fans mods killed the post. If you're interested in what I have, hit me up.
ETA: Crossposted the awkward to alittleawkward. Hopefully it's less of a be-there moment than last time. Also, it occurred to me that sometimes, being stealth is a lot like winning the Game. Once you realize you were, you aren't anymore. (And yeah, you lose. ;P)
