lonetreadMy feet hurt from standing so long, my shoulders and ribs hurt from binding so long, but God, I love work.
They didn't make me actually serve anyone, which was a relief. I did manage to accidentally spill a bunch of olives on the floor and then, later, accidentally sit on them, but all in all it was a pretty good day. And I feel so productive, like I didn't just waste a whole day because, for once, I actually didn't.
Funniest quote of the day: "Eh, the clean lids fell on the clean floor, that means they're clean!" (Said jokingly, btw; we're not about to give anyone hepititis with logic.)
Also, I knew Arielle (my coworker, who was the one who said the thing about being "so excited" about Isis the other day) seemed familiar. She goes to GLBTF too. :) (Oh, other funny quote: "Is it just me, or is it getting a little gay in here?")
Frankly, Quizno's is just made of awesome. And I've even got my own number now (#3025!), so I can clock in and everything. It's pretty sweet. My only issue at this point is I've only got the one pair of work-appropriate (black or khaki) pants, because I'm sure not wearing my nice black pants there. Just have to pray I don't sit on anything that'll leave a mark, I guess. Or try to convince them that brown is the new khaki, lol.
