Real Update, for once.

lonetreadThings that have happened recently:
1a. I finished the un_love_youprompt table yesterday. Unofficially. Still have to post the rest of them. 17, 13, and 8 are my favorites. And now that I've fixed 7, it's hard to pick a least favorite. Probably 18 (way redundant because of 11; I really ought to rewrite it as the Fever fic I had planned originally and then forgot about) and both versions of 4 (the endings suck). But all in all, I'm pleased.
1b. Also, sorry about spamming you with those, folks! Gotta post them as separate entries for the table or I'd be more concise about it. :(
2. Won Writo de Mayo yesterday, too, with the same story that completed the table. Now 32/31. Two of them on the list, though, are first versions of stories I later completely rewrote ("Friends and Enemies" being one, the first version of #4 ("Dialogue") being the other), counted as different stories. Now, I think "Dialogue" is legitimately its own story (however much the ending is so OOC it hurts), but I might write another drabble anyway, just to do this whole thing fair and square. Maybe more Samverse. :) Does anyone else like that 'verse as much as I do? I don't think so, lol. But that's okay.

3. I had an interview at Lowe's today. I think it went fairly well. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
4. Regarding the family visiting, they came in yesterday and we went out to eat with them and then played games. They were all complimentary of the hair. And then I passed with the waiter at the restaurant and my mom just pretended she didn't hear him. *g*
And I think that's it. Except the party's tomorrow and I get to see Zera again. Yay party! (And yay for my sister graduating. Apparently one of her friends isn't going to be allowed to walk the stage at their graduation because he missed too much English class and then missed too much Credit Restoration. What a moron. 9_9)

5. I'll be taking an advanced standing test on 6/12 to get out of the intro class for CS majors next fall and be able to take some of the lower division CS classes to catch up. Send luck for this too, please. *g* I don't think it'll be all that difficult, but if you fail, you can't take it again, so... fingers crossed.
