First, can someone please explain to me how Firefox decides whether it's going to save your tabs or not? Is there some rhyme or reason to this, or is it as completely random as I'm beginning to suspect? I mean, seriously. Last night some updates wanted to install and restart my computer, so I bookmarked a few of my windows and then closed out the LJ window. Firefox asked me if I wanted to save my tabs, and I said yes please, and then we restarted and I thought all was well. And when I open Firefox this morning? O HAI HOMEPAGE. WHERE B ALL MAI TABZ. D: It... it's just so random. Wtf. Asplain, plz.

Secondly, American banks need ads this awesome. Seriously. :D

Thirdly, I rememebered when I woke up this morning that I have my first Java 2 exam today. Oh boy. Cross your fingers for me!

ETA: One more thing. Coming back from lunch with Jessie today (and I've officially got the drop form for Numerical Methods, yay!), I let myself into my hall and there's this woman there hanging up something on our bulletin board. She turns around and looks at me when the door opens, and is like "o_O Is this the guys' hall or the girls' hall?" So I tell her it's the girls' hall and she looks relieved. I must have really confused her for a second there, lol. I was amused.

Oh, and the test went alright. I'm not sure I understood the last question, but I took a shot at it anyway, and I think I at least managed the rest of it okay. :)

Things that are just straight-up awesome:

1. There's less than a day till the Being Human season finale.

2. The fact that it's a season finale and not a series finale (except, well, y'know, in Britain, but that doesn't count. do they even have a word for "series finale"?).

3. I am totally officially dropped out of Numerical Methods. Cut for not-awesome. )

4. As mentioned, my awesome CS advisor is teaching Numerical Methods next fall. And not only that, but it's not Excel, it's some point-and-click graphical language created by National Instruments. Sounds like a good time. And I'll be motivated to work hard for her like I was for Professor P in Logic last semester, so that'll be helpful. :) With luck I'll get my A after all.

5. Finally, and I could be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure Aunt Flo was supposed to have gotten here about a week ago. No sign! I could not be happier about that than I am. Hooray for T. :D

6. Also, my books are seriously made of awesome. Just saying. I think this'll be the first book I've finished for ages. Maybe since Just Add Hormones. I fail at reading. (I also fail at writing. Please don't close the [livejournal.com profile] writing_game board! I skipped one and now I have to write the spot I'm actually on....) Hopefully with the awesometastic way things are right now -- just this lack of Numerical Methods alone is a wonderful, wonderful feeling of relief -- I should start generally failing less pretty soon.

Flashpoint. Wow. I was worried they were just going to Put Jules on a Bus (and I'm curious to know why they're writing her out in the first place), but the look on Sam's face when Kickass New Girl used the Jules restroom (which, btw, I lol'd at)? Thank you, show, for addressing these things. Between this and BH's "Mitchell-and-the-Star-of-David" nod, I'm going to get spoiled by awesome shows actually understanding that, a lot of the time, viewers aren't morons.

Also, kids next week? Oh God. D:

And Numb3rs was... really good. I really liked Cam; they ended things well with him but I'd like to see him come back. Unrelatedly, the very end of this ep (after the omg-awww-sad) made me lol irl. :D All in all, not too shabby. And next week looks... odd, but creepy. Could be good. Reminded me a little of XF s5's "Kill Switch", but I'll withhold judgement until next week.

Oh, and they finally showed a nice long commercial for Harper's Island, and it looks pretty awesome. April 9th. May have to catch that.
