Seriously, I would have thought my karma would have gone up today, seeing as I spent several hours this afternoon behind Brother Jed with the GLBTF folks and a "Hate is easy, love takes courage" sign. Apparently not, because what do I find when I get to the caf for the Christmas dinner? That the Vegetation Station has been taken over by shrimp and the pasta place is serving who-knows-what with meat in it. I ended up with a cheese-lettuce-tomato-pickles-and-onion sandwich, a salad, and a roll. Then by the time I got to the dessert, they'd run out of the plain cheesecake where they were serving it at Chik-Fil-A (which I was all excited about trying + the chocolate fountain), so I ended up with the same chocolate-peanut-butter pie they serve every day.
And afterwards? Outside, H&F had a little thing set up where they were giving away free hot chocolate and cider. So I go over there. "Oh, we're temporarily out, sorry!"
What did I do to deserve this?! DDD: *sigh* At least 11H is on tonight. And tomorrow is Friday.
