Inspired by some communities I've recently discovered, I decided to make this list of communities/groups/etc willing to help writers with information on certain topics. They're organized by subject. Yahoo!Answers. The answer to why I generally dislike Yahoo.

It burns my eyes, but this question on Yahoo!Answers explains a lot about the quality of most of the fic on FFN.

... And I need to stop browsing Y!A, because I just now literally felt my eyes tear up at the idea of this. (Hello? You don't know that's already been done, and I'm sure it's been done way better than you'd do it?) *headdesk*
