1. Didn't get the job. :(

2. I've been studying like crazy for that CS test, and now my head's so full of Java I'm almost afraid I'm going to start ending my sentences in semicolons. o_o'

3. My cousin's fiance's aunt has connections, so we all got to go to a Rangers (baseball) game for free and sit, first, in some sweet $60 seats on the third base line near home plate, and then in one of those shiny suite things with the comfy chairs and TVs. For the record, the first three innings where you could actually see the game were better, but it was all quite awesome. Plus, we won.

4. Still haven't worked out how to physically get to the hotel for the con, but I'm already making a list of things I need to remember to bring because this is going to happen. *is determined* I mean, my family is going to the airport that morning to drop off the relatives, so you'd think it would be an easy thing. But that's too early, I think. So I don't know. Thoughts?

(Hopefully, all the studying will convince my parents that my complete obsession with television [because I'm not going to try to deny I have one] is not getting in the way of important things / life, and thereby that I should be allowed to go to the con. Right? That's the plan, anyway.)
