lonetread1. As I told Dime a while back, but don't think I mentioned to anyone else: I almost killed NCT last week. Woke up at 4:30 one morning and decided to let it die. Then the muses were like "NOPE, NOT HAPPENING." and so, even though they weren't being very helpful with the particulars, I've relented. But I may wait until after s2 starts to really sink my teeth into it anymore. Really, s2 could either be very bad for it (i.e., Dean/Jaimie) or helpful (another "Shot in the Dark"), and if it's bad, I can just set it earlier or something, so I may as well hold off and hope for the best. It's certainly not going to get finished by August, anyway, so what can it hurt? *shrug*
2. A throwaway line from tonight's LTM made me want to finish my FTM!Emily fic from last year. We'll see how that works out.
3. Randomly had Luc (my devil character from that Dexter fic, y'know) pop up in my head earlier; maybe I'll get that story finished at some point, too. That'd be cool. I still adore him to bits and pieces.
4. Just finished reading the entire collarkink round 2. ...Yeah. What? Shoot me, it's summer, I have nothing better to do. ;) Anyway, so I got half-bunnied for this MTF!Neal/Diana prompt. I've never written femslash in my life, but it sounds fun.
5. Unfortunately, speaking of MTF transfic, that DB one may never happen. Not only because I have no more ideas and all the different ways I tried to write the one other idea I had ended up sucking, but because I've watched this (TRIGGER WARNING -- "transphobia" is too light a term for what goes on here), in which an Iraqi trans woman's head was shaved at some point before she was beheaded along with two other trans women and several gay men. [highlight for possibly triggering summary of video and what happened after the video was taken] So, uh, yeah. I kind of can't handle that right now. I wish I could. I hope I can eventually. But I sure as shit can't right now. ):
6. Speaking of transfic, I have literally not made one word of progress on anything in the SPverse since SP. But I'll keep it in mind for you guys. :)
Anybody got requests? What should I be writing? What would you like to see?
P.S.: In RL-news, I have the sore throat from hell, and the return-trip-from-Cleveland post is coming within the next two days, I promise. Also, I emailed the passport folks this nice long email about their stupid new policy (I think I've figured out a way to get the gender changed without getting a new doctor), and I got a form letter back: "To better assist you and due to general email security restrictions, we are unable to provide you with any specific information regarding your particular situation. Please call our office at the number listed below." To better assist me...you can't answer my question?? Uh huh. That makes perfect sense. Sigh. 9_9
