First: the Psych finale was pretty crazy-awesome (poor Shawn!), and Human Target ("Baptiste") was, too. (Yay for that FBI woman coming back and not dying! And Lennie James, I've missed you since Jericho! Way to kick ass again.)
Second: Speaking of HT, I have bunnies. One is HT/White Collar, which, all that business in "Baptiste" is a perfectly logical reason for Neal to hate guns, don't you think? And/or, I could see Geurrero and Mozzie as friends/acquaintances/partners in crime. And the second one is HT/Leverage, which I'm sure could work somehow. Or just be awesome. Along with that HT/BN that I mentioned previously. Seriously, someone should write me one. I'd love you forever. :D
Third, and the point of the post: Speaking of bunnies!
lgbtfest opened for prompt submisions today, and there are already so many epically awesome ones! I had started making a list of the ones I wanted to read, but then it got HUGE, so I pared it down some. And seriously, if anyone I know writes any of these, I will HAPPILY write you fic in return. Just sayin'. :)
The list:
Fourth: I've been randomly reading far more than is healthy about a) privilege, and b) religion (and some lulzy religious fail) in the past few days, and, on those lines, atheistcartoons.com has really lulzy cartoons. This one, however, is not so much lulzy as trufax (and happens to be the intersection of (a) and (b)). Unchecked Christian privilege ftl. Sigh.
Finally: Anyone want to make a sign? Due date's the 9th.
Oh, and also this. Mine's the headstone one. ("Body", get it? Hehe. ...Well, I thought it was clever. Shut up. ;))

The list:
- Warehouse 13, any characters, A sex-swapping Artifact gets one of the group reconsidering their gender identity.
- Heroes, any character, When Primatech's experimentation turns up the fact that all the specials are LGBT, people start questioning their own lives. (Being queer gives you superpowers! XD)
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer, any characters, A teenager is having trouble convincing the Watchers and/or Buffy and/or any or all of the Scoobies that she is a Potential--because her body is physically male.
- Dresden Files (TV-verse), Bob, Being dead has its compensations; a spirit can manifest as the man he always at heart, rather than mirroring the female body he wore in life. But now Harry Dresden, who's always thought of Bob both as a best friend and as a second father, has discovered that Hrothbert of Bainbridge was born Hroswitha. Bob fears that this knowledge may cost him the one thing that makes his eternal servitude bearable--his son's acceptance and love.
- Any superhero fandom, Any character with a gender identifier in his/her name, The character realizes that s/he is transgendered. How does he/she go about reconstructing his/her identity? (Example: Superman becomes Superwoman; Wonder Woman becomes Wonder Man; etc.)
- Babysitter's Club, Kristy Thomas, in college, Kristy's no longer in the Babysitter's Club, but she does still babysit. When she gets a job sitting for a boy who insists he's a girl, she's forced to confront things about herself she'd repressed.
- Good Omens, Pepper, She really is one of the boys. If only anyone believed her.
- Leverage, Tara, Tara is having enough trouble gaining trust and acceptance from Natan's team; she really doesn't want them to know she used to be a man. Problem is, if information exists in electronic form anywhere, Hardison will eventually find it.
- Firefly, Wash/Zoe, "Not everybody gets me and Zoe at first glance" - and not everybody realises quite what's to get (Wash is ftm or Zoe is mtf, or both).
- Any fandom, any characters, Character X has dutifully ignored all romantic feelings toward anyone other than the spouse his/her parents have selected for him/her. When the marriage plans fall apart, s/he has to confront the fact that most of those feelings have been directed toward people of the same sex. [I'm thinking Royal Pains would be perfect for this!]
- Eureka, any character, Eureka's usually a good place to be LGBTQ, but it's still a small town, and it can still be frustrating as hell sometimes.
- Harry Potter, any character, With magic, there are many ways to change one's body; a trans character is determined to bring those avenues to muggle trans folk, in direct opposition of Ministry laws governing muggles/magic.
- Supernatural, Ellen Harvelle, The story is that Jo's father died while hunting. Ellen's been living as a woman for a long time now, and as far as she knows, no one's caught on yet. What happens when someone does?
- Burn Notice, Michael Weston, The fact that Michael was born in a female body doesn't usually cause him any trouble, but when it does, it really causes trouble.
- Any fandom, any characters, Post-apocalyptic scenario and the experience of being trans in a dangerous time with limited resources. [Jericho!]
- Dead Like Me, any character, A reaper died one gender, but now appears to be a completely different gender to the outside world.
- Numb3rs, Megan Reeves, She'd been her father's last chance for a boy and she'd always wanted to be that boy. It was just her luck that the genetic lottery had made her a gorgeous woman instead.
- ETA: FlashForward, any character, the person’s flashforward shows them in a same-sex relationship or having sex with a person of the same sex, but they aren’t gay or bi at the time of the blackout.
- ETA: Robin Hood (any version/series/etc), Robin/Maid Marion, Part of what Marion likes about Robin is how well he understands her. Robin hasn't gotten around to telling her why he can relate to her so well, that when he said he came from a noble family, he had neglected to mention he had also been a woman.
