Things that are good.
1. The roomie finally came back from an extended absence (she does that a lot; hell if I know where she stays when she's not here), and brought a friend and the friend's husband with her. Apparently they were going out somewhere and she needed different clothes, which was why she stopped by. (Lol I don't know either. *shrug*) Anyway, so it turned out to be an unfortunate day to not be binding, but she introduced me as Justin anyway. She's done that every time she's had a friend over since I came out. Makes me happy. :)
2. Somebody at the BBC messed up and the video of Episode 3 of Being Human that went online today (a day early) isn't region-locked. For now. Just got done watching it and it was fantastic. As always. :D Yay!
3. Also watched this week's BN and Psych earlier today (and the s2 QL ep "Animal Frat").
3a. BN: Not bad. As expected, it took me a while to recognize Joel Gretsch, given that he wasn't wearing black. (The same thing happened with Jackie in something I saw her in; I'm so used to seeing them in the NTAC vests that when they're not wearing black, I can't recognize them. I fail like that, lol.) Once I recognized him, my brain was like "Tom!" and I couldn't really focus very well, heh. As a result, I was kind of horrified when he died, but it was a good ep. I miss Joel-as-Tom so much, though, my god. *sigh*
3b. Psych: Terrific as always. Afterwards, I was still on Hulu, so I watched the commentary the writer gave on that episode. She has the most annoying mouth in the world, rofl. I'm not the kind of person who usually notices things like that; Milo's mouth thing had to be pointed out to me, for instance, and even then... But with her, her lip was just... I couldn't stop staring at her gums. It was odd. *shrug* But the episode was good. Posting bail ftw. "It looks like a piece of paper, but it's our life savings!"
3c. QL: Nothing special, but not bad. Some parts were funny, and then some parts (the bit about Tom, and Al at the meeting) were just like "ow. that... that hurts, show. jeez." Done well, though, definitely. I lol'd hard at the end. Scott really was such a sport.
4. Got my Numerical Methods prof to agree to office hours by appointment with me on Tuesday. And he drops the two lowest homework grades, so if he can actually teach me this Excel crap for the next assignment, I still have a chance at this class. Wish me luck.
ETA: Also, I'm rocking over at
writing_game. Turns out having new eps of BH to work off of is extremely helpful. I'll crosspost here when I get a chance, but they're over there if anyone's interested.
